February 24th 2023 marks a year since Russia has invaded and continues to carry on military actions in the territory of Ukraine, destroying the country and killing peaceful citizens. Thousands of Ukrainian citizens were forced to become refugees. Many settled in our communities. Rain or shine, we invite you to join us in commemoration of 1st year of the war in Ukraine. Your attendance and support is detrimental to the moral of Ukrainian community locally and overseas.

*Walk in the footsteps of a Ukrainian through the valley of sorrow. You will see the rare pictures of tremendous destruction and loos by Ukrainian people

*A moment of silence - pay respects to thousands of fallen soldiers and peaceful man, women, elderly and children, who lost their lives during this year due to this senseless war.

*Join us in a peaceful prayer for Victorious and prompt end of war by Ukraine.

*Help us write letters of hope and goodwill to Ukrainian soldiers and citizens.

*Join us in a lantern balloon ceremony at the end of the day.

We are looking for sponsors for this event to sponsor enlarged photographs and easels. We will create an alley of sorrow and hope, where people can walk through and see the horrors of this war, as well as learn about the resilience of Ukrainian people. Each picture will feature the name of the individual or business who sponsored it. The sponsorship is tax deductible (please indicate if you need tax deduction form). All remaining profits will be directed to help Ukrainian peaceful citizens in need in Ukraine and local Ukrainian refugees. $100 is a sponsorship amount.
